Description
Sectolin Sand Relief Psylium is a supplementary feed for horses, to be used for horses that eat sand. Sand Relief is rich in fiber and contains 99% psyillium husk, also called psyllium fiber. When in contact with moisture, these psyllium fibers form a jelly-like paste that binds the sand and carries it out of the intestines. Sand Relief Psyllium promotes the drainage of sand.
Feeding advice (one scoop = approx. 12.5 grams):
- Adult horses: 50-100 grams per day
- Ponies, foals and yearlings: 25-50 grams per day
It can be given dry over the food or mixed into the slop. Sand Relief Psyllium should be fed immediately after mixing with sludge.
A 700 gram bucket is sufficient for approximately 2 feeding periods of 5 – 7 days. Always ensure there is sufficient fresh drinking water.
