Description
VetPlus Cobalin is a dietary supplement containing vitamin B12 (cobalamin) and vitamin B9 (folate). Cobalin supports protein metabolism, DNA repair and cell division for dogs and cats. Vitamin B12 and B9 deficiency can lead to effects such as anemia, diarrhea, nervous problems, weight loss and fatigue.
Vitamin B12 and b9 are not produced in the body, but must be absorbed with food. A deficiency usually occurs not because of a dietary deficiency, but because of a problem in the pancreas or intestines, which causes poor absorption of the vitamins.
A vitamin B12 deficiency can also result from chronic diarrhea, so it is wise to supplement vitamin B12 to support the intestines.
The casing of the capsule contains porcine gelatin and is therefore not suitable for dogs and/or cats that are allergic to this ingredient. In case of allergy, open the capsule and administer it through the daily diet.
